So last night I was at the quiz at the Sprig & Fern.  One of the questions was "what is the most common non-infectious disease?".  The answer of tooth decay stunned me and caused a little bit of hilarity at the table of dental workers!!

But I've been thinking about it.  Is this a reflection on diet or is it simply that a large percentage of the population don't pay much attention to their teeth until they are in pain?  A checkup at least every 12 months would mean that people receive the type of dental care that prevents decay.  So why do so many people avoid it?

We are passionate about so many aspects of dental care at Gentle Dentle.  Helping nervous patients, provided cosmetic dentistry to rebuild smiles but also making sure that we are aware of any problems before they arise.  We can only do that if we see you regularly.

I know that cost is an issue that small pay out once a year could prevent 10 times that in treatment costs if you don't come.  Regular scale and polishes also check the health of your mouth and make sure that you are cleaning properly to lessen the potential for problems even further.

So don't wait until you are part of that statistic.  Give us a call and arrange a check up today
